The Task

Build an online tribe for Silver Talkies and change the way people look at ageing, through a strong organic content strategy.

Our Approach

We created a social media strategy that was hooked on 3 levers – human stories, community events and commentary on re-thinking aging.

Our social media content strategy started to celebrate what it means to age, sharing real life stories of those who’re following their dreams regardless of ageing and driving awareness around age inclusivity amongst younger people. We also ran workshops for the community to empower them to create their own stories that worked across social media platforms.

Taleworthy Impact

We had a 5X growth in followers and created a stream of video content that provided valuable content to older adults, such as government schemes, financial planning, tech support, celebrated wins by older adults, featuring their solo trips, marathon wins and more and created engaging content by jumping onto trends, but with a point of view – gathering over 100,000+ views, and 5000+ shares.

Book Promotion: Rethink Ageing

When the co-founders of Silver Talkies, Nidhi Chawla and Reshmi Chakraborti wrote Rethink Ageing, we had an incredible opportunity to promote this book and amplify the powerful stories captured in it. Through Instagram Lives, audio excerpts, featured stories, teasers, giveaways and PR we were able to drive massive interest in the book leading to sales on Amazon. Moreover, the book was invited to the Jaipur Literature Fest and other coveted festivals as a result of the online marketing campaign.
